Upcoming Dates TBA…

Join us for an inspiring evening where personal tales ignite connections and build community!

Part workshop and part open mic, this free event celebrates the belief that everyone has a story worth telling.

Storytelling is more than just entertainment – it's a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery. By sharing true experiences, you will place yourself at the heart of your own life journey, using narrative to foster understanding and connection across diverse perspectives. This event aims to build bridges, not walls, within our community.

Each event will feature a different guest storyteller and provide a supportive space for anyone who wishes to share their own story. The format will be an open mic but can shift to a more intimate story circle, depending on attendance.

This storytelling workshop is led by Wandering Aesthetics' Education Director Kyle Jozsa and Artistic Director Benjamin Rexroad, using the Storyteller's Way model to help participants craft their stories.

After the workshop, the open mic begins! You can share your own story or enjoy listening to others. A special guest storyteller will also take the stage.

Growing Together Through Ensemble Theatre

(Full & Partial Scholarships are available: https://forms.gle/rL5cA9GW7V8degrZ6)

"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team."
— Phil Jackson

Great theatre isn't created by one person - it's built by an ensemble. In Ensemble Adventures, young actors will discover the joy of creating together. Through high-energy theatre games, imaginative challenges, collaborative storytelling, and playful scene work, students will learn that the best ideas often come from listening, supporting one another, and saying "yes" to the unexpected.

Guided by Mr. Kyle and Mr. Matt, students will explore what it means to be a true ensemble. Each week emphasizes communication, trust, creative risk-taking, and teamwork while giving every student opportunities to express themselves in a safe, encouraging environment. Rather than focusing on individual performances, the class will celebrate how a group of unique voices can come together to create something none of them could have imagined alone.

Along the way, students will build foundational theatre skills including improvisation, physical storytelling, vocal expression, stage presence, character creation, and collaborative devising. Together, the ensemble will create an original, playful performance that showcases not only their creativity, but also the friendships, trust, and confidence they've built throughout the session.

Listen deeply. Create boldly. Adventure together.

There will be a final performance held on Saturday, November 21st.

Saturdays @ 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM (9/19 - 11/21)

This class will be held at:
Summit Artspace
