Join Wandering Aesthetics for a day of improvisational play for ALL AGES and ALL SKILL LEVELS! Guided by Storytellers Kyle Jozsa and Nici Romo, participants will – adding their own personal twist – act out well-known stories from throughout the ages as audiences cheer them on! From myths to fairy tales, this day is sure to be an adventure like none other.

The Kent Creativity Festival is a hands on arts festival which is open to everyone of all ages. All activities are free. The event features live entertainment, 26 different interactive art creations in the visual arts, dance and choreography, music, etc. and many other art making activities. Plus food trucks and more! Free parking on city streets.

This festival will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to come together to create, share and explore the creation of all forms of art. This free event will take place on September 24, 2016 from 11 am to 5 pm on the Lester A. Lefton Esplanade between Rockwell Hall and downtown Kent.

A few props, some makeshift costumes and a story is all you'll need throughout this interactive theatrical affair. From Little Red to Big Bad and all those characters in between, step out of reality and into the world of play and make believe.

Acting as either audience or actor and working with professional storytellers, participants will help recreate scenes from famous fairy tales from around the world.

Open improvisational storytelling sessions will be held during three (3) 90-minute blocks:

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
