“The aesthetic image in the dramatic form is life purified in and reprojected from the human imagination. The mystery of aesthetic, like that of material creation, is accomplished.”
– James Joyce
Visual artists often look to their world for inspiration when creating their art. Join Teaching Artist Kyle Jozsa, of Wandering Aesthetics, as he helps you unleash your imagination to develop a character, monologue or dramatic scene based entirely on one of the entries from this year’s Art Prize. Allow yourself to follow your intuition, creating theatre inspired by art that truly speaks to you. No experience is necessary as during the workshop you will be guided in best practices of improvisation, character development and crafting of simple dialogue (lines).
Location: Summit Artspace • 2nd Floor Event Space
Registration closes September 23rd.
