TICKET FOR LIL’ LOAVES (A Youth Showcase Showdown)
A bite-sized version of Wandering Aesthetics’ Bigger Than A Breadbox, Lil’ Loaves (A Youth Showcase Showdown) is a brand new annual talent showcase for performers ages 18 & under to be held at The Center on Friday, January 18th at 7 PM.
The evening will feature a wide array of youthful artistic talent and culminate in two performers being awarded cash prizes.
The Nomads (Band)
The Nomads are a pop/rock band from The Hudson School of Music under the direction of their band coach, Jeremy Jones. Members of the band include, Ella Bozan (10) lead singer, Nolan Diehl (11) drummer, Gavin Bozan (12) guitarist, and Mira Zamarro (13) pianist. The Nomads will be performing three songs for the showcase.
Cambria Scarborough (Monologue)
Cambria Scarborough is currently attending the Miller South School for Visual and Performing Arts, in both the Visual Art and Drama programs. She previously starred in A Play Within a Play on a Midsummer’s Day as Puck, and also was cast as Carol in Prancer. She will be performing the Susan monologue from The Exceptional Childhood Center.
Colton Reynolds (Performance Art)
Colton is an 8th grader at Kimpton Middle School in Stow. He has performed with Dunamis Theatre, Wandering Aesthetics, Miller South School, and at Weathervane. He was last seen as Bottom in ‘A Play Within a Play on a Midsummer's Day’ and this March he will be playing the role of Shrek in ‘Shrek the Musical Jr.’ Acting and music are his great loves. He will be performing a lip sync to 'So Emotional' from Whitney Houston as his alter ego, Cynnamon Spyce.
Jordyn Freetage (Musical Theatre)
Jordyn Freetage is 12 years old and in the seventh grade at Jackson Middle School in Massillon, OH. She has been in many productions all over northeast Ohio and was most recently seen in “Oliver” at Medina County Show Biz Theater and as Young Fiona in the Beck Center for the Performing Arts professional production of “Shrek the Musical” Jordyn will be performing “Live Out Loud” from the musical “The Little Princess”.
Pointless is an alternative rock band from The Hudson School of Music under the direction of their band coach, Jeremy Jones. Members of the band include, Wilson Ha (15) lead singer and bass guitarist, Jack Weyls (13) drummer and Gavin Bozan (12) lead guitarist. Pointless will be performing three songs for the showcase.
Ella Bozan (Singing)
Ella Bozan (10) is a vocal and piano student at The Hudson School of Music as well as the lead singer of The Nomads, a tween rock/pop band. She will be performing (singing & playing piano) "Try" by Colbie Caillat.
Lara Dodez (Cheer)
Lara is a 5th grader at Lake Local School District. She completed her 4th season of cheer with Lake Youth Football this past October. Lara commits many hours of practice each season to learn various cheers and a half time dance routine. As a cheerleader, Lara has learned how to be a vital part of a group and the importance of having fun while working with a team. She will be preforming a cheer montage of several cheers from this past season.
Jori Presutti (Piano)
Jori Presutti is a 7th grader at Miller South School for Visual Performing Arts in the Symphonic Choir, Chamber Choir, Piano and Orchestra. Jori recently worked as Stage Manager in KenMore Kreative Youth Theater's production of 'Law and Order Fairy Tale Unit' last summer and 'Ebenezer's Christmas Carol' this past December. Jori will be playing the song "Black is the Color (of my True Love's Hair)" : An Appalachian Folk Song
Jack Lemley (Piano)
Jack Lemley is an 11 year-old boy who was born in Dalian, China. He started piano lessons at 4 years old and currently attends the Miller South School of Performing Arts for vocal and piano. He will be performing Flight of the Bumblebee & the Super Mario Bros Main Theme.
